About 12 years ago, I walked away from a well-paid job as a lawyer to run a tiny village tearoom — and just about everyone thought I’d lost the plot.

Fast forward to today, and that little tearoom has grown into a multi-million-pound business with 10 UK locations, nearly 150 team members, and a brand presence as far afield as Japan. We’ve served tea on London’s Oxford Street, supplied the Royal Palaces, and proved that independent cafes can punch well above their weight.

But I’m not here to rattle off achievements.

I’m here to support independent cafe owners like you — because I’ve been where you are.

I know what it feels like to work every hour, chase every penny, and still wonder why the numbers don’t stack up. I spent years running a busy cafe that barely broke even… until a generous business mentor stepped in and showed me how to turn it all around.

That changed everything.

Now I share those lessons to help cafe owners build profitable, sustainable, community-driven businesses - without burning out or selling up.
